Trump's golf cost the US $18 million in 48 days

Donald Trump has spent more than $18 million on golf during the 48 days of his second term as president. According to IZ, citing HuffPost, he spent 6 of his 7 weekends at his own golf courses in Florida, with each trip to Mar-a-Lago costing taxpayers about $3.3 million. The expenses included a flight on Air Force One, a motorcade on C-17 military aircraft, and enhanced security.

During his second term, Trump continued to play golf extensively, despite significant government spending. According to the Government Accountability Office, travel costs may have been even higher due to inflation and increased security costs. In addition, additional funds were allocated to patrol the area around Mar-a-Lago, including gunboats and Coast Guard vessels.

Trump spent more than $151 million on golf during his first term, and it's likely that this time the amount will be even higher. Of particular note are the costs of logistics and security, which include not only air travel but also the maintenance of law enforcement officers and specially trained dogs. This approach to the president's vacation raises many questions among taxpayers and critics.
