Church holiday March 10: commemoration of the holy martyrs
In the church calendar, March 10 is dedicated to the memory of the holy martyrs Kondrat, Cyprian and their companions. These saints died in the 3rd century for their faith in Christ. According to legend, Kondrat was a Christian preacher who, together with his disciples – Cyprian, Dionysius, Anectus, Paul, Crescentus, Victorinus and others – was subjected to cruel torture, but did not renounce their faith. Believers pray to the saints on this day, asking for their intercession and protection.
