He expressed his readiness to “work hard to end the war.” And having established specific terms of this good: the liberation of the captives, the never-true truce in the sky and on the sea, “so that Russia can create the same.”
This, obviously, was a reaction to Trump’s statement that Zelensky “is not ready for peace on America’s part,” which was made after his clash in Washington.
However, constructiveness was of little use in words. At the beginning of the 4th Congress, Trump stated that he had torn off the sheet from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky from this drive. As it turned out later, he respected the instructions of the social media service X.
However, access to the information and assistance was not updated. At the same time, American planters declare that the decision is down to the current times, the decision rests with the US President himself.
What does the United States want from Ukraine and Russia?
The special representative of the US President for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, shed light on Trump’s strategy in many minds.
“Those you are talking about at the same time, in other words, are trying the Trump administration to bring the offending parties to the negotiating table in order to achieve a peaceful settlement. And this means a carrot and stick method for both sides. “There are active movements under the administration (Trump, – ed.) to press on Russia, and obviously on Ukraine as well,” Kellogg said as he approached international affairs.
In his words, the United States is trying to put pressure on Russia for additional confiscation of assets and maximum sanctions on Russian energy. At the same time, according to my words, the pressure on Ukraine is to please the bark copal trees.

Europe is shaking
Nowadays, due to negotiations between Ukraine and the United States and the United States and Russia, Europe is trying to develop a powerful strategy of action in its minds, since there is less and less confidence in the safety of the United States. The confirmation that America has ceased to be a reliable ally was especially strengthened after the welding of Zelensky with Trump and the reduction of US assistance to Ukraine.
These formal decisions were praised during the special meeting of the European Union in Brussels on January 6. The President of Ukraine also suffered the same fate.
Today there were two sources: European security and support from Ukraine, but the results were only half-hearted. EU leaders agreed on the plan for the re-invention of Europe, which mobilizes 800 billion euros, which includes loans of 150 billion for defense needs.
Also, 26 of the 27 powers of the European Union agreed with the declaration to support Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ugorsk region Viktor Orban was strongly encouraged to vote for the ceremony. The declaration aims to encourage the potential deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine within the framework of the “Common Security and Defense Policy” mechanism. However, the vote of the Ukrainian Parliament means that the declaration will not be passed before the official resolution itself.
At the same time, the great package of military aid to Ukraine worth over 20 billion euros failed. Politico wrote to one of the European diplomats that the negotiations with Ukraine cost only 15 dollars. Apparently, new packages of assistance have been released within the framework of the “coalition of the willing.”
As before, Europe is becoming more active in order to protect the interests of power and support of Ukraine, but it is dominated by an over-the-top bureaucracy and complex mechanisms for making decisions.
