The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for negotiations with US representatives. The group is rejected by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.
RBC-Ukraine reported about this through a message sent to Ermak’s post on Telegram.
“The team is on duty. We are getting ready for work,” he wrote.
In his words, the delegation is clear about ending the war and protecting Ukrainian interests.
“We will work effectively with our American partners,” Yermak added.
Negotiations in Saudi Arabia
We guess that on the 11th of February there will be negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
Ukraine is represented by the minister of the Office Andriy Ermak, his protector Pavlo Palis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sibiga and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov. On the American side will be Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Secretary Mike Waltz and Special Representative of the US President Steve Vitkoff.
According to the ZMI data, it appears that Kiev is sealing the peace and maritime truce with Russia during the hour of negotiations.
Before the negotiations, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the prospects for Ukraine's proposal should be increased before the fire is fired to end the war.
Rubio noted that Washington's reduction in military assistance to Ukraine may increase during the negotiations with Saudi Arabia.
He also stated that within the framework of peace, Ukraine will have to give up buried territories to Russia.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky 10 arrived on a visit to Saudi Arabia, otherwise we will not take part in the negotiations.
