RBC-Ukraine reported this to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a briefing.
“What kind of signals were there from the Russian side? I respect that the Russian side wants to drive away the Ukrainian military. On the same line (Kursky – ed.), but on the territory of Ukraine. It is important that ours The army knows, the command knows, they don’t want to earn money,” the president said.
Zelensky said that Russians want maximum presence on the territory of Ukraine, in which there is nothing new here.
“Partners have companions, don’t worry, the Russians have accumulated military forces and where they are going. Then we will understand why. There is no mention of peace there,” the head of state said.
The situation in the Kursk region
Apparently, Ukrainian border guards reported that the Russians were trying to break through the cordon near the Sumy region. This is also accompanied by an intensified offensive of the Russians in the Kursk region.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky informed that the Russian Federation will accumulate a military border similar to the Ukrainian cordon. In his words, it is worth noting that the blow to the Sumy region will be launched.
Kerivnik TsPD Andriy Kovalenko noted that the Russians will accumulate forces to strike the Sumy region, otherwise there will be no attack.
