History of the company's creation and development
The history of Comfy began on December 24, 2005 with the opening of the first store in Kryvyi Rih. The founder of the company is Stanislav Ronis , who previously had experience in developing a network of home appliances and electronics stores. In 2007, Comfy merged with the “Pobyttekhnika” network, which allowed the company to strengthen its position in the market and become one of the leaders in the field of retail trade in electronics and home appliances in Ukraine.

Owner and management
The controlling stake in Comfy belongs to Stanislav Ronis , who is the founder and key figure in the company's management.
The position of CEO is held by Ihor Khyzhnyak , responsible for the strategic development and operational activities of the company. The HR director is Kateryna Bondurovska , who is responsible for personnel policy and work with personnel.

Financial indicators and company value
According to Forbes, in 2024, Comfy achieved significant financial results:
- Revenue : UAH 47.7 billion including VAT, equivalent to approximately $1 billion, with an increase of 27.1% compared to 2023.
- Tax deductions : UAH 2 billion in 2024, which is almost twice as much as in the previous year.
There is no specific data in open sources regarding the total value of the company. However, given its financial performance and market position, Comfy is one of the most valuable private companies in Ukraine in its segment.
Company scale
As of February 2025, Comfy employs 5,200 people and has 110 stores across Ukraine. In 2024, the company invested UAH 300 million in opening 10 new stores , up from the initial plan of 20. In addition, the company expanded its coverage to 90% of Ukraine and launched a regional warehouse in Lviv.
Digitalization and development
One of the company's strategic directions is digital transformation. Business Development Director Margarita Razumova is responsible for implementing innovations, leading a team of 155 specialists . The IT budget for 2024 is UAH 248.3 million , and one of the most expensive projects was the update of the POS 2.0 retail process management system worth UAH 60 million . Thanks to this solution, the time for processing checks during peak hours was reduced by 17% , and the time for preparing goods for shipment was reduced by an hour.
Social responsibility and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Comfy has been actively supporting the Ukrainian army and volunteer organizations. The total amount of assistance has exceeded 165 million UAH . In addition, the company pays attention to environmental initiatives, responsible consumption of resources and waste disposal.
Tax deductions and transparency
Since 2011, the company has been audited by the leading audit firms of the “Big Four” , which confirms its financial transparency. Comfy is among the Top 100 largest taxpayers of Ukraine – in 2024, the company paid UAH 2 billion in taxes and fees .
