On Tuesday, March 18, weather conditions are expected to worsen in Ukraine. The Ukrhydrometeorological Center has issued a storm warning in a number of regions due to strong winds. As IZ reports with reference to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second are forecast in the southern, central, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. In this regard, forecasters have declared a yellow level of danger.
According to the forecast, the strong wind will persist only on March 18, after which the elements will gradually subside. In general, in the coming days, the wind in Ukraine will be predominantly north-westerly, with a speed of 7-12 meters per second. In addition, on March 18, light wet snow is possible in the southeastern part of the country, in the northern regions during the day, and no precipitation is forecast for the rest of the territory.
On Wednesday, March 19, wet snow is expected in most regions, except for the western and southern regions, and precipitation may be moderate in the eastern regions. At night, the air temperature will range from 0 to -8 degrees, in the Carpathians frosts to -13 degrees are possible, while in the Southeast it will be from 0 to +3 degrees. In the daytime, temperatures in Ukraine are forecast to range from 0 to +7 degrees.
Already on March 20, precipitation will stop, and the temperature at night will be from +1 to -5 degrees, during the day it will warm up to +5 – +10 degrees, and in the Southwest, thermometers can rise to +13 degrees.
