According to IZ, citing the BVG website, a strike by BVG employees will take place in Berlin from March 19 to 20, 2025. From the start of work on Wednesday, March 19, until the end of work on Thursday, March 20, the movement of the subway, trams and buses will be suspended. In this regard, passengers should be prepared for significant delays and extended journeys, as well as switch to alternative modes of transport.
At the same time, for the convenience of citizens, S-Bahn trains, as well as regional and long-distance trains, will continue to operate, ensuring the ability to move around the city.
