The occupation authorities of Zaporizhzhia region continue to pressure farmers: details of the raids

The Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region continue to carry out repressions against local farmers. Recently, the occupiers conducted a series of raids on agricultural enterprises, the pretext for which was supposedly poor-quality grain. According to the Center of National Resistance, wheat, barley, sunflower and oats were found during the inspections, IZ writes.

Rosselkhoznadzor said that violations were found in 233 cases. However, local farmers claim that this is just an excuse to exert additional pressure. It is noted that the invaders impose fixed prices and force farmers to hand over their grain through certain companies, which then export the grain outside Ukraine. If enterprises resist or refuse to cooperate, they lose the opportunity to make a profit, as their assets are transferred to the control of collaborators.

These actions are aimed at strengthening control over the economy of the occupied territories and forcibly integrating them into the Russian economic system. Local farmers are forced to work under constant pressure and fear for their lives and businesses.
