Oleksandr Usyk has responded to an ultimatum from the World Boxing Organization (WBO), which gave him 30 days to agree to a fight with Joseph Parker. As IZ reports with reference to 24 Sport, if the Ukrainian does not agree to this fight, he will lose his title. Usyk did not hesitate to react and stated that he plans to organize a rematch with Daniel Dubois, and also expressed hope that the fight can be held with the support of Turki Al-Sheikh.
The WBO has given Usyk an ultimatum, giving him 30 days to sign a deal for a fight with Joseph Parker. Otherwise, the Ukrainian boxer risks losing his championship title. Now this issue has become the main one in the plans of Usyk, who was set on the possibility of a fight with Dubois. The boxer hopes that everything will be decided by the support of Turki Al-Sheikh, who can become a key figure in the organization of this fight.
Usyk noted that despite the ultimatum from the WBO, his main goal remains to unify the belts. “We want to hold this fight with Dubois, and it all depends on how God helps. But, I am sure that Turki Al-Sheikh is the only person who can organize this fight,” Usyk noted. The boxer also emphasized the importance of this fight for him and for the boxer Dubois, because he has a chance to become the absolute world champion.
