The official exchange rate of the dollar and euro has increased again: how much are the currencies worth?

The official exchange rate on March 19 was marked by a slight increase. The US dollar rate increased by 13 kopecks to 41.56 hryvnias, and the euro increased by 18 kopecks to 45.34 hryvnias. The forecast for March 20 indicates that these rates will hardly change.

This is confirmed by data from the National Bank of Ukraine, writes IZ. Forecast for March 20: the dollar will cost 41.57 hryvnias, and the euro – 45.32 hryvnias.

There is also growth in the cash market. Thus, banks offer a rate of 41.30 hryvnia for buying and 41.90 hryvnia for selling the dollar. In exchangers, the dollar is bought for 41.13 hryvnia and sold for 41.70 hryvnia.

Financial analyst Andriy Shevchyshyn believes that the dollar is losing ground due to US policy, in particular, due to Donald Trump's protectionism. At the same time, the euro is gaining momentum due to the economic process that promotes the flow of currency to Europe. Shevchyshyn also emphasizes that Ukraine will increasingly integrate with the EU, which contributes to the strengthening of the euro.

We remind you that we previously wrote that Ukrainians will be allowed to accumulate pensions independently and pass on funds as an inheritance.
