Who owns Vodafone?
Vodafone Ukraine is part of NEQSOL Holding , an Azerbaijani investment group. Since 2019, the company has been part of this holding, and now its parent company controls Vodafone's activities in Ukraine. The controlling shareholder is Nasib Hasanov , an Azerbaijani businessman and founder of NEQSOL Holding. Under his leadership, the company invests in the Ukrainian economy and is actively working on the development of telecommunications and digital technologies.

Vodafone Ukraine is led by Olga Ustinova , who is the company's CEO. She led the company during a difficult period when the Ukrainian mobile communications market underwent major changes, in particular due to the conflict and changes in the business environment. Under her leadership, the company adapted to new conditions, introduced new technologies and expanded the range of services, in particular through the launch of 4G mobile Internet services and the expansion of the 5G network in Ukraine.

How much is Vodafone worth?
According to the latest estimates, the Vodafone brand has an impressive value of 21.8 billion US dollars, making it the largest brand in the UK according to the Brand Finance 2017 rating. However, if we consider the financial indicators of Vodafone Ukraine, the company continues to be profitable and stable in the Ukrainian market. In 2023, its net profit amounted to 5.1 billion hryvnias, and revenues – 21.6 billion hryvnias. At the same time, the total number of the company's employees in Ukraine is over 4,500 people.
In 2023, the company also made a number of important investments in network and technology development, which allowed to ensure stable access to services for Ukrainians even during difficult times. In addition, Vodafone actively invests in social projects and support for the citizens of Ukraine, in particular in humanitarian initiatives, support for the army and the digital transformation of the country.
Financial results and investments
Since its arrival in Ukraine, Vodafone has been constantly developing its technological and infrastructure capabilities. The company's investments in network development and restoration in 2022-2023 amounted to over 11 billion hryvnias, and for 2024-2025 Vodafone plans to invest another 10 billion hryvnias in the country's digital and technological infrastructure.
Despite the challenges posed by the Russian invasion, the company is working hard to restore its network and keep its customers connected. During the war, Vodafone expanded its coverage by installing more than 5,000 base stations and continues to provide services in combat conditions.
