20-year-old model from Lviv, Maria Kovalchuk, was found in a Dubai hospital in serious condition after more than a week of disappearance. This was reported by her mother, Anna Kovalchuk, noting that the girl underwent complex operations and is currently unable to speak. All these events are developing against the background of a police investigation into the circumstances of the disappearance, writes IZ with reference to Espreso TV.
Maria disappeared on March 11, when she stopped communicating. She was last seen at a party on March 9, where she met people from the modeling business. According to a message from the model's friend on the X network, it was after this party that Maria was supposed to spend the night with the men she met, and then go to Thailand. However, her disappearance has raised serious concerns among her family, in particular about possible involvement in sexual slavery.
Telegraf reports that Maria was found without documents and a mobile phone in the hospital where she underwent surgery. She had been in Dubai since February 15, working as a model and participating in the “Boris for Peace!” campaign dedicated to political scientist Boris Kaharlytsky.
