President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated that Ukraine denies the opportunity to take part in projects related to the Security Action for Europe program, or SAFE.
As Ukrinform writes, at the summit in Brussels, the EU decided to bring our country to a permanent conclusion within the framework of SAFE. The bloc plans to withdraw a loan in the amount of 150 billion euros.
Von der Leyen emphasized that “the security of Ukraine is also the security of the European Union.” And since the security of the bloc is also a concern throughout Europe, the EU has determined its readiness to reach SAFE from its associated partners.
