George Foreman made a huge contribution to boxing. During his career, he fought 81 fights, winning 76 of them, 68 of which were by knockout. He was defeated only 5 times. His most memorable fight was against Evander Holyfield in 1991, when he was defeated by one of the greatest opponents in the boxing world. However, even after that, Foreman continued to compete, and his farewell fight took place in 1997, when he lost again to Shannon Briggs.
Foreman became a cult figure not only for his sporting achievements, but also for his contribution to the popularization of boxing among young people. After his career ended, he also became a businessman and television personality. Currently, Foreman's record, set at 45 years old, is extremely important for many boxers, in particular for Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko, who plans to break this achievement.
