France and Ukraine are sinking their defense industry. This will enable the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry to ensure the support of the Defense Forces.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine in a letter to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Umerov informed that there were meetings with representatives of leading French defense companies in Paris.
“Their products are already demonstrating effectiveness on the battlefield in Ukraine. We are focusing on the development of our innovation. A special focus is direct purchases, localization of production in Ukraine and creation “holiday enterprises,” the minister explained.
In his words, we must strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry and ensure the support of our Defense Forces.
“I am grateful to the French partners for their commitment, openness to cooperation and readiness to develop industrial solutions together with Ukraine,” Umerov summed up.
Let’s remember that today, February 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also arrived on a visit to Paris. There, you will liaise with French President Emmanuel Macron to prepare a “coalition of the willing”.
Dear, tomorrow the “coalition of the willing” itself is planned to take place in the capital of France. Participants will discuss more specific terms for supporting Ukraine.
Previously, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga named the main ones. Among them, the food supply, the basic needs of Ukraine and the current safety infrastructure.
