Deadline for lines of mobility
For 1 quarter, Ukrainians will have the right to a replacement for the mobilization of military personnel, which the robot sellers have not rebooked.
Based on the decisions made, until the 31st of March, businesses can confirm their criticality status and re-book their workers, subject to updated criteria. You can submit lists for robot seller armor online on the “Diya” portal.
It is significant that the term of re-armoring will end on the 28th, due to a cyber attack on the state registry it was extended for a month.
Confirmed armor will appear in the “Reserve+” checkbox. If the extension is given after updating the status of a critically important enterprise, it will be valid for the period of criticality – up to 12 months.

New VLK rules
In Ukraine, the reform of the Military-Medicine Commissions (VLC) is being implemented. The draft stage starts on the 1st quarter. The innovations are related to the formalization of the resolution on the passage of the VLK – now all commissions are required to draw up documents in an electronic form.
The mechanism looks like it's up to date:
- The ZSU Medical Information System has launched an electronic VLK account, which replaces paper formats with an online format.
- direction to VLK from the “Oberig” register will automatically go to the VLK office.
- The new commissions after reviewing the military drafts are displayed in the “Reserve+” add-on.
- decrees that military service members are retained in the MIS ZSU.
At the end of the digitalization of the VLK system, the anonymization of the data of military personnel will become anonymized when passing the commission. Increase in excise taxes on cigarettes
Finally, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on increasing excise taxes on Tyutun products. Also, starting this month, the State Tax Service (DPS) will issue a new excise duty tax.
Also, the ability of cigarettes to continue to grow. According to forecasts, by 2025 the price may increase by 35%.
According to the provisions of the signed law, the specific excise rate on cigarettes with and without a filter will be increased by 23.4% – from 47 to 58 euros per 1000 pieces. Minimum duty due to pay excise duty increased by 23.9% – from 63.45 to 78 euros per 1000 pieces.
Before the new coefficient before the excise tax, then from the 1st quarter of 2025 until the end of the year it will become 1.1. In accordance with the Tax Code of Ukraine, the retail price of cigarettes is subject to excise duty at least 60%. For pouches 2024 roku won 55.8%. Therefore, we have to advance through a new coefficient.
As stated in the traffic police, the coefficient will be expanded to apply to all manufacturers and importers of cigarettes without a filter and cigarettes with a filter.
After the increase in rates and excise duties, prices for cigarettes will increase step by step, and products manufactured before 1st April 2025 will be sold at the old prices.
Pension change
In the coming month, the amount of pension payments will be adjusted for the benefit of the pension age, as they continue to work. This category of Ukrainians itself was not subject to the planned indexation, as it was in Bereznya.
Changes will be made automatically without the need for special contact with the Pension Fund authorities. We are talking about pensioners who have had at least 24 months of insurance coverage for 1 month, either after the recognition of the pension, or after the rest of the period.
The amount of the bonus is individual for each pensioner and is based on the amount of ESV withheld from the salary for the remaining 24 months.
As long as the turnover is 1 round, the payment for the hope of the heart is increased, including an additional payment for the round and herb. This is due to the rules of reporting for payment of ESV (payments for the 1st quarter must be submitted to the company).
Increase in deposit rates
From the 1st quarter of 2025, PrivatBank is increasing the rates for clients’ deposits:
- for lines from 10 to 12 months – up to 13% of daily income;
- for lines from 6 to 9 months – 10% deposit;
- “short” 4-5 month deposits – 12% of deposits;
- contribution “Glory to the Heroes” for military servicemen – 14% of the river.
New minds are working both for new contributions and for those that continue on the other lines.
As the bank explains, the yield on deposits should be increased in order to ensure the hryvnia security for Ukrainians and make them even more profitable.
Registration for NMT is completed
Registration for the main session of NMT-2025 is limited to the 3rd quarter on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Assessment of Information in the section “Personal Account of the Participant”. You can log in either independently or through “Diya”.
Then, before the 8th quarter, you can correct the following registration data:
- place of conduct;
- select the fourth subject;
- the need to take the test during the pre-graduate session.
Requests for participation in the main session by participants will begin on May 4th. At this session, the trivatim is 14 rubles for 25 rubles.
