On the evening of March 27, Russian strike drones struck Zaporizhzhia, causing large-scale power outages in the city, IZ writes. As a result of the attack, 895 families were left without electricity. This was reported by PJSC “Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo”.
According to official information, power companies managed to quickly restore power supply to most of the affected consumers. In particular, in Zaporizhzhia itself, power was restored to 726 subscribers. “Repair work is ongoing, we are working to restore power to people as soon as possible,” Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo said.
As of Friday morning, March 28, 3,517 customers in Zaporizhia Oblast remain without electricity due to military operations. Another 2,800 customers are currently without electricity due to technological disruptions unrelated to the shelling.
Energy service specialists are continuing emergency restoration work in the region to ensure electricity supply to all consumers as soon as possible.
