Israel launched a ground operation in Rafah to expand the security zone

Israel has expanded its ground operation on the ground in Gazi. The IDF troops reached the Al-Jnein area in Rafah.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine via The Times of Israel.

Israeli forces said they had expanded their ground offensive into the Gaza Strip over the past few years.

According to the data, the IDF said that the troops rushed to the Al-Jnein area in Rafah as part of the effort to expand the buffer zone along the borders of Smuga.

The IDF said that during the operation, the army had reduced the Hamas infrastructure in the area. In addition, it was noted that over the weekend, dozens of airstrikes were ordered against the infrastructure of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The targets included stockpiles of armored vehicles, missile launchers and weapons used by terrorist groups, the IDF said.

The military reported that the strikes also killed many terrorists, including those behind the mortar attacks on Israel.

The destruction of the truce

Apparently, active fighting has recently resumed between Israel and Hamas. The reason is that the militants were inspired to provide Israel with guarantors.

During this time, the Israeli troops carried out few strikes on militant targets in the Gaza Strip.
