Head of the Ministry of Health of Poland: the best guarantee of security for Ukraine is a strong army

Poland respects that the Ukrainian army will be the greatest guarantee of security for Ukraine. Warsaw will not send troops to Ukraine.

RBC-Ukraine reported this in an interview with TVN24 to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski.

Sikorsky commented on the gathering of leaders of the “coalition of the willing”, which took place on Thursday, February 27, near Paris. The coalition is muting the possible rise of the “streaming forces” in Ukraine after the end of the war.

The head of the Ministry of Health said that “Poland will be in this coalition, but not physically in Ukraine itself.”

“There is a wealth of negotiations, both on the equal representatives of the headquarters of Great Britain, and on the political level in Paris. These concepts are still at the development stage,” – said the Polish minister.

Moreover, in Sikorsky’s opinion, the greatest, shortest guarantee of Ukraine’s security is “a good and well-equipped Ukrainian army.”

“We have the largest army in Europe… and there is evidence of a new type of war with millions of unmanned pilots,” he added.

“Coalition of the willing” for Ukraine

On the 27th of March in Paris, Ukraine’s allies found themselves in a “coalition of the willing” – a group of countries ready to supply a peacekeeping contingent or help in other ways to secure the world after a possible fire.

The coalition brought together representatives from over 20 powers, including the EU, Great Britain, Canada, Norway and Turkey. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also took part in the meeting.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that the three major allies would submit a plan to monitor the truce in Ukraine.

In addition, Macron launched a “streaming force” in Ukraine, which can become a partial guarantee of security. We are talking about the recruitment of military, naval, ground and air forces that may be deployed in strategically important areas after the end of the war.
