The head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, called on the Russian Federation to demonstrate a gesture of “good will” and to be aware of the fire in Ukraine.

The European diplomat stressed that “the return of Ukrainian children who were deported to Russia” and “the release of military personnel” are butts of a goodwill gesture for Russia.
Just before the ministers of the foreign affairs of the European countries appeared in Madrid, Kaya Callas also called on the Receiving States to put pressure on the Kremlin in order to put an end to the war.
Also, the Minister of External Affairs of France, Jean-Noël Barrot, stated that Russia is obliged to give a clear message to the United States before it wants to go on a peaceful path.
