Macron admitted that the EU could introduce a limit on American digital services

The European Union may impose a tariff on American digital services based on tariffs ordered by US President Donald Trump.

French President Emmanuel Macron stated this, RBC-Ukraine reported to The Guardian.

Macron noted that he agrees with the EU leaders that “nothing can be turned off” in response to Trump’s actions, leaving “all the tools on the table.”

Among the available tools, highlighting the potential of digital services, “the emerging states will reap significant benefits from Europe.”

The French president also called on the leaders to be deprived of information and not to succumb to the complacency of “going alone”, but to exploit the size of the European market in any political reaction.

Previously, we reported that Macron said that French companies may reduce investment from the United States through Trump's decision to impose new tariffs on the European Union.
