Reuters reported that Great Britain announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine, which is worth 450 million pounds or 580 million dollars. 100 million of this amount will be given for the conquest of Norway.
Minister of Defense of the Acquired Kingdom John Gilly spoke about the aid package ahead of Friday in Brussels together with his German colleague Boris Pistorius at the meeting of the Contact Group in the format “Ramstein”. Four officials have already held meetings of ministers of the “coalition of the willing” ahead of the upcoming peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
According to Gilya, “we cannot forget about the war, because new supplies are arriving at the front that can help the Ukrainians in the fight.” The politician believes that the Contact Group can take Ukraine’s strongest position in the negotiations and put pressure on Moscow until the war is over.
The Great Britain government called for giving Ukraine a military support in the amount of up to 4.5 billion pounds sterling.
