The head of the Kharkov regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, pointed out the main goal of the “second army of the world” in the region. The official spoke about the course of hostilities, commenting on the occupiers' attempts to seize the village of Sinkovka.

In an interview with Ukrinform, the head of the OVA said that Russian troops are now concentrating on capturing the village of Sinkovka. The invaders expect that the occupation of this settlement will allow them to move forward and create the preconditions for blocking Kupyansk, writes NBN.
According to the official, the main goal of Putin’s army in the region is to recapture the large railway junction Kupyansk-Uzlovoy . Sinegubov noted that in order to get to him, the “second army of the world” needs to capture part of Kupyansk.
The head of the OVA emphasized that the defenders are aware of the enemy’s plans and, despite the actions of the Russians and the enemy’s sufficient number of weapons, the Defense Forces are effectively doing their job.
