In a comment to LIGA.net, the speaker of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Russian occupiers intend to capture the city Chasov Yar in the Bakhmut district. It is this settlement in this front zone that is the main goal of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces, reports NBN.
Fityo noted that Putin’s occupation forces want to take control of Chasov Yar in order to attack in the future and reach the administrative borders Donetsk region.
A representative of the Ukrainian Ground Forces said that over the past 24 hours in the Bakhmut area, the “second army of the world” carried out 3 airstrikes, used 36 drones, and also carried out 449 attacks from artillery and mortars.
In turn, the Defense Forces in this direction “removed” 113 “liberators” and 48 units of military equipment of Putin’s army.
