About the fact that ” the second army of the world” in the coming weeks may intensify actions aimed at capturing Kupyansk, since it has a group of forces in this direction that is less depleted than in other sectors of the front in eastern Ukraine, writes NBN, referring to ” Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to ISW analysts, the invading forces have sufficient potential to intensify operations in the Kupyansk direction, and will strive to seize territories that are the most important from an operational point of view, than those who are now trying to occupy.
In addition, officials of our country have already warned that the occupiers intend to capture Kupyansk and Borovaya in the winter of this year, since this will allow the Russian Federation to oust the Ukrainian Defense Forces from eastern banks of the Oskol River in the Kharkov region, thus creating the conditions for the upcoming Russian offensive along the Kupyansk-Svatovo-Kremennaya line.
