Pensioners of our country, despite the effect of martial law, this year will experience several stages of increasing the amount of benefits, and some categories of citizens can expect to receive at least 520 hryvnia.

About that in two stages the amount of benefits will be increased for Ukrainians who are over 65 years old, provided that a woman has 30 years of experience, and a man has 35 years of experience, writes NBN , referring to the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Social Insurance”, published on the official page of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In particular, due to the increase in the minimum wage from January 1, 2024 up to 7 100 hryvnia, the pension benefit of citizens who have reached the age of 65 will also increase – the amount of payment, according to the legislation, must be at least 40 percent of the “minimum wage”. Thus, the amount of the basic pension payment for such elderly citizens will increase from 2 680 to 2 840 hryvnia at the first January stage.
In addition, from April 1, 2024, As a result of another increase in the minimum wage to 8,000 hryvnia, the size of the pension benefit for citizens aged 65 years will also increase again to 3,200 hryvnia.
