The governor of the Saratov region in the morning in his Telegram channel reported that at night Russian air defense allegedly eliminated a UAV over the territory of the Engel region, reports NBN.
Putin’s official said that there were no casualties or destruction of infrastructure as a result of the drone strike. At the same time, the defense department of the terrorist state traditionally accused the “Kiev regime” of attempting to carry out a “terrorist attack.”
Ukrainian media recalled that in Engels there is an airfield of the occupation forces, where strategic bombers are based. The invaders use this aircraft to attack Ukraine. Probably, the drone wanted to attack this facility of the Russian Armed Forces, which had already come under fire last winter.
