About the fact that the likely supply of Iranian ballistic missiles to the Russian Federation will become a definite challenge to the air defense of our country, if we ignore the lack of reliable information regarding such supplies, NBN writes, referring to the statement of the representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat, sounded on the air of the telethon on YouTube channel “TSN”.

According to Ignat, one should first become familiar with the effectiveness of the above-mentioned missiles, and also take into account the potential amount of transferred ammunition, even despite the fact that the Air Force does not yet have information that can “refute or confirm [that] -that] regarding Iranian missiles.”

The Air Force Speaker added that it is possible to eliminate ballistics only with special means, such as the Patriot air defense system. Thus, the supply of ballistic missiles by Iran will pose a challenge to our country's air defense, while simultaneously signaling to our allies that the time has come to quickly “provide [new] weapons to Ukraine.”

In addition, the best technique for shooting down any type of enemy missiles is is the “disposal” of launchers in the territories from which projectiles are launched. That is, Ukraine needs to have “high-precision, powerful weapons in order to reduce the number of batteries.”

We previously wrote about how Ignat commented on media reports about the destruction of Shahed-238 with  jet engine.
