Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Jens Stoltenberg, after today's meeting with the President of the Ukrainian state Vladimir Zelensky, made an important statement on our country's membership in NATO.
As NBN reports, in particular, Stoltenberg, on his page on the social network X wrote that Ukraine is now closer to NATO than ever before.
Verbatim from the statement made by Stoltenberg:
It’s nice to start the day in Davos with meeting with President of Ukraine Zelensky. I would like to say that despite the serious situation on the battlefield, there are grounds for optimism: the Ukrainian state retains its independence, and the Ukrainians, having chosen the West, rejected Russia. And Ukraine is now closer to NATO than ever before.
Recall that earlier the Ukrainian Air Force responded to Stoltenberg’s words regarding the weak influence of the F-16 on the course of the war.
