The head of the Kharkov regional administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that at about 04:00 and 07:20 the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on the Kyiv and Saltovsky districts of Kharkov. According to preliminary information, the occupiers attacked the regional center with Kh-22 supersonic cruise missiles, NBN reports.
According to the official, Putin’s army attacked exclusively civilian infrastructure: apartment buildings, an educational institution and other objects were destroyed. As a result of the Russian attack, two women were killed and the number of wounded increased to 35.
Also in the morning, troops of the aggressor country fired at the capital. The press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration reported damage to civilian infrastructure in the city.
As a result of the attack by the invaders in the Svyatoshinsky district, a building was damaged, the blast wave broke windows in residential buildings, and parked cars caught fire. Later, in this part of Kyiv, a part of a rocket was discovered that could pose a threat. Rescuers are working to neutralize it.
A residential building was damaged in the Solomensky district, and a non-residential building in Pechersky district. In the Darnitsky district, debris fell on the roof of a high-rise building and on the territory of a kindergarten; there were no fires.
According to the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, 18 people were injured as a result of the missile attack.
