According to Kravets, to determine the real amount of the minimum wage after deducting all tax fees, the amount of tax should be subtracted from the actual level of the “minimum wage” for the income of individuals (personal income tax) and military duty.
In particular, the calculations look as follows:
- from January 1 – 7,100 hryvnia minus 18 percent of personal income tax, minus 1.5 percent of military tax = 5,734 hryvnia;
- from April 1 – 8,000 hryvnia minus 18 percent of personal income tax, minus 1.5 percent of military tax = 6,461 hryvnia.
