In our country there is still a partial moratorium on raising the cost of utility services, introduced after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, however, this does not prevent the government from changing the electricity tariff from time to time, and not at all to a lesser extent.
About volume , how electricity tariffs are likely to increase after the end of the current heating season, writes NBN, citing the opinion of the head of the board of the Union of Utility Consumers, Oleg Popenko, published by 24-Channel.
According to Popenko, the increase in the cost of electricity will take place in 2 stages: the 1st increase is planned for the period from May 1 to June 1, and the 2nd increase – from October 1 to November 1.
It should be noted that if at the current electricity tariff for household consumers in Ukraine is 2.64 hryvnia/one kilowatt-hour, then soon the cost of electricity will rise as indicated below order:
- at the first stage of adjustment— up to the mark in the range from 3.5 hryvnia to 4 hryvnia;
- at the second stage— in the price corridor from 5.5 hryvnia to 6 hryvnia.
