According to Klitschko, Ukrainians are waiting in suspense to see how the situation with the president’s plans to replace the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will end, NBN reports.
The official believes that it was largely thanks to Zaluzhny that citizens truly believed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The head of Kyiv noted that now politics can outweigh common sense and the interests of the country. He noted that this point does not depend on the military leader.
The mayor of the capital hopes that the country's leadership understands the seriousness of their decisions and the fullness of their responsibility. Klitschko believes that Ukrainians are not confident that a change in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have a positive result, which the authorities should take into account.
The official called for an end to political struggle and intrigue, so as not to undermine the unity in the country and the coherence of the army .
