The wife of Putin’s godfather, the pro-Russian ex-people’s deputy who is accused of treason, Viktor Medvedchuk Oksana Marchenko in 2018 participated in the 5th season of the project “Dancing with the Stars”. Ukrainian producer Vladimir Zavadyuk told how the notorious TV presenter got into the show.

The fifth season of “Dancing with the Stars” was subjected to merciless criticism, as Ukrainians considered Marchenko’s participation unacceptable in the show. According to Zavadyuk in an interview with Alina Dorotyuk, the TV personality got into the project due to the interest of a certain part of the audience, and not because someone promoted her, NBN reports.
The producer noted that there are still six years ago, despite Medvedchuk’s scandalous reputation, his wife gave the impression of a patriot of Ukraine and an adequate, understandable and professional person. He remembered that the TV presenter spoke in Ukrainian and was against the judges speaking any other language.
Note that after the project, Marchenko stated that she agreed to participate in the show in order to “make some noise in this swamp.” The wife of Putin's godfather claimed that the heads of the TV channel wanted to “cynically, meanly and insidiously” discredit her.
Previously, producer Igor Kondratyuk stated that the TV presenter did not hide her treacherous position even on the show “X Factor”, justifying the occupation Donbass and Crimea.
