The Ukrainian state will continue to receive air defense weapons from the United States of America within the framework of USAI.
As NBN reports with reference to a message from the Speaker of the Department of Defense of the United States of America Patrick Ryder, within the framework of USAI there is a number of already contracted opportunities, including supplies of air defense systems.
So, Ryder noted in his message:
There are certain capabilities contracted with USAI, including some air defense capabilities. We will also continue to work very closely with allies and partners in terms of identifying Ukraine's needs and then working with them to help facilitate that process.
In response to the question of whether the supply of U.S. air defense missiles into the territory of the Ukrainian state, Ryder replied that we are talking about “these and other assistance options” that were announced within the framework of USAI.
We recall that we previously wrote that Zelensky announced supplies of new air defense systems to Ukraine.
