On the air of the national telethon, the head of the Avdeevka GVA said that the situation in the city remains difficult, the “second army of the world” is trying to surround it from the flanks, NBN reports.
According to the official, the Russian invaders want to “cut off” the coke plant through the dacha area and are pressing very hard in this part of Avdeevka. The head of the GVA confirmed that the “liberators” are entering the outskirts of the city and are in the private sector, where they are being held back by the Defense Forces, repelling enemy attacks.
Barabash noted that he sees messages in Telegram channels that Avdiivka has “already fallen.” The official denied this information, noting that such statements are disrespectful to the military personnel who protect the city. He emphasized that it is still very far from “everything is lost” in Avdievka.
Earlier, the head of the GVA reported how many residents remained in Avdeevka and why they could not be evacuated.
