NBN writes about a simple method to reduce the installation time for Windows OS updates, citing material from the Neowin profile portal.
As it became known, update packages are installed almost 20 percent more intensively if you forcefully close the Settings application – the culprit for slowing down installation progress is the MoUSO Core Worker Process command, which creates additional load on the processor.
In particular, testing showed that with the application described above running, a massive set of updates and “updates” are installed in at least 21 minutes, and after closing it, only 17.5 minutes.
To check the negative impact of the specified command on the OS, just launch the task manager during the update, and, of course, “throw out” the process from the execution queue.
