As NBN reports with reference to the statement of the speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Colonel Andrey Demchenko, in a comment to the publication of Ukrayinska Pravda, he stated that at the above two checkpoints they have begun allow passenger transport to pass.
According to him, the situation has not changed dramatically, but at the same time his Polish colleagues reported that at approximately 16:00 today, farmers from Poland informed that they would allow five passenger vehicles in each direction every thirty minutes. This information concerned the Ustilug checkpoint. Among other things, in this direction they will allegedly resume normal bus service and will allow several trucks per hour in both directions.
An hour later, at 17:00, Polish farmers also promised to lift the blockade of passenger vehicles and buses on the direction “Rava-Russkaya”. Regarding trucks, at this checkpoint they intend to allow one per hour in both directions.
Finally, Demchenko added that the Ugrinov checkpoint remains completely blocked for passenger transport and trucks.
We recall that earlier the President of Ukraine commented on the situation on the Polish border.
