A representative of Zelensky's Office said that statements about the possible dispatch of armed forces of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to Ukraine indicate that European states are aware of the risks posed to them by the aggressive Russian Federation, NBN reports” with reference to the Reuters agency.
In a written comment regarding the statement of the head of France Emmanuel Macron, the adviser to the head of the OPU also noted that the opening of a discussion about the possibility of direct assistance to our country in the war with the Russian Federation by Western troops should be considered as a desire of Europe more clearly highlight the risks and correctly place the emphasis.
The official emphasized that it is now important for the West to speed up the supply of military equipment for the Ukrainian troops.
We recall that the organization’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commented on the issue of sending the Alliance’s armed forces to Ukraine. According to a representative of the organization, the bloc does not plan to station its troops there.
