Despite the state budget deficit of our country caused by the delay in aid from the United States, people's deputies do not intend to cut salaries or reduce colossal “maintenance” expenses.

The fact that financial support for one people’s deputy costs Ukrainians 1.6 million hryvnia/annually, writes “NBN”, citing the corresponding resolution published on the official page of the Verkhovna Rada Ukraine.
As it became known, only for transportation expenses, that is, travel, people's representatives are allocated at least 7,500 hryvnia every month. Also, parliamentarians can count on a monthly payment of 19,452 hryvnia, intended to pay for the services of assistant consultants (233,423 hryvnia per year). Also, the budget allocates 237 900 hryvnia/yearly to people’s deputies for accommodation, and another 1 million hryvnia for the Fund for remuneration of the above assistants (88 418 hryvnia/monthly).
In addition to all of the above, at least 8,000 hryvnia (period—10 months) are reserved for travel of assistant consultants to electoral districts, and another 167 hryvnia/monthly—as payment for the maintenance of election commission premises .
