This month, our country is undergoing the traditional indexation of the size of pension payments, and, as it turns out, this process extends to certain types of social assistance.

On the fact that from March the amounts of insurance payments accrued as a result of disability due to an industrial accident or occupational disease will be recalculated, writes NBN, referring to the official page of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
As it became known, the recalculation coefficient in 2024 is equal to 1.0796, or 7.96 percent, since it is based on the dynamics of growth in consumer prices and average wages (income) in Ukraine (the rate of inflation has slowed down somewhat, which allowed the government to reduce the scale of indexation).
At the same time, the norms of social legislation of Ukraine have established a range for increasing the specified social assistance—from 100 hryvnia and not more than 1500 hryvnia ( the total payment cannot exceed 28 400 hryvnia).
