The fact that Shepps canceled his visit to Odessa due to receiving information from his military intelligence about the disclosure of plans for this trip by the Russian special services, writes NBN, citing the material from The Guardian.
How It became known that an additional factor in the cancellation of the visit to Odessa was the fact that during the period of Shepps’ flight from Northolt airbase to Poland, the head of the British defense department was informed that on March 6, at the motorcade of the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Odessa, an attempted missile attack was carried out by a terrorist state.
In particular, since as a result of a series of explosions from missile attacks by the Russian Federation, 5 people were killed, level threats to Shepps's safety increased from a significant to a critical figure, which, naturally, served as a justified reason for canceling the trip to Odessa.
Earlier, we wrote about the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine called the type of missiles and the direction from which the Russian Federation shelled Odessa on March 15.
