According to Miller, the Russian authorities are deliberately promoting propaganda and disinformation with absolutely obvious goals – a terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall “, “this tragic incident”, in which, “unfortunately”, a lot of Russian citizens died, will be used to the maximum to justify [the Russian Federation's] own aggression against Ukraine.
The US State Department speaker emphasized that Moscow deliberately doesn't give weight to key facts, but just makes up fictitious evidence “to support what they want to do [in Ukraine].”
Miller summed up:
They [Russia] have been doing this since the beginning of this war and, unfortunately, this is what they are doing today.
