About 16:10 an air raid alert was announced in Sumy – the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the activity of Russian military aircraft in the northeast, warning residents of the region about the threat of the invaders using aviation weapons. Ten minutes later, an explosion occurred in the city, NBN reports.
The press service of the regional military administration stated that Russian invaders attacked Sumy with KABs. A local thermal power plant came under attack from the aviation of Putin's army.
The department reported that all necessary services were working at the scene of the shelling, and the consequences of the enemy attack were being clarified. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties in the attack on the thermal power plant.
