The deputy commander of the 3rd Special Brigade in his Telegram channel commented on the French leader’s intention to achieve a truce in Ukraine during the Summer Olympics, NBN reports.
According to the serviceman, for any of our country’s allies there is only one option to contribute to the return of peace to Ukraine – to transfer air defense systems and equipment to Kyiv, and possibly send their own military contingent.
Zhorin believes that another call for a ceasefire for a certain period is not even funny. He suggested that, apparently, Western countries should learn the hundredth lesson that the Russian Federation is demonstratively breaking all its promises, humiliating those who believed in it.
Note that in an interview with the media, Macron said that he wants to negotiate a ceasefire in Ukraine and Gaza during the Summer Olympics. The head of France expects that the partners of Paris and the leader of the People's Republic of China will help him implement this initiative.
Earlier, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin cynically commented on Macron's call for the Olympic truce.
