US National Security Council Speaker John Kirby explained why the United States will not shoot down drones that Russian occupiers launch into Ukraine, as America did with allies in Israel last weekend.

On Monday, April 15, a representative of the US Presidential Administration during a briefing answered the question why America, which with its allies shot down drones in Israel, cannot do this in Ukraine during Russian UAV attacks, informs, “ MFN.”
According to Kirby, these are “different conflicts,” “different airspace,” and “different threat landscapes.” He said that since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, head of state Joe Biden has made it clear that his country does not intend to participate in the conflict and take on a combat role.
The official added that Washington provided Kiev with everything necessary for defense sky over Ukraine, but now the United States cannot provide additional assistance to it due to lack of funding.
