About the fact that on Thursday night , the key efforts, that is, Russian-Iranian kamikaze drones, were sent by Putin’s army to Ivano-Frankovsk, but the defenders of the skies of Ukraine effectively eliminated all 13 Geranium-2/Shaheds released, NBN writes, citing the Explanation by Major Ilya Yevlash, Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sounded during a telethon on the TSN YouTube channel.
According to Yevlash, enemy targets flew along familiar routes, performing, among other things, a reconnaissance mission : “Gerani-2/Shaheds” tried to combine groups, simultaneously bypassing the Ukrainian air defense forces in various terrain folds – hard-to-reach areas along river beds, ravines/gullies, where it is difficult for mobile fire groups to get through.
In particular , kamikaze drones of the “second army of the world” tried to bypass Ivano-Frankivsk, intending to hit the city from different sides—from the north and south, walking in a “line” to make them more difficult to hit.
In addition, during the “air raid”, the enemy’s UAVs were either concentrated in groups or separated, trying to “confuse their trail as much as possible,” however, contrary to such tactics, our Defense Forces managed to “land” all the kamikaze drones .
