On the fact that the readiness of citizens to immediately participate in the mobilization process has not decreased ;at such a low level as expected, writes NBN, referring to statistics published on the official page of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation named after. Ilka Kucheriva.
For example, only 25 respondents noticed that most of their acquaintances are trying to avoid mobilization, while 47 percent claim that certain individuals from their environment ignore this process, and some, perhaps, do not ;against being drafted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Thus, taking into account the intentions of the last mentioned group of respondents, in which a certain proportion of acquaintances are still ready for mobilization, we can conclude that the degree of readiness for military service is “not low, but average.” level.”
It should be noted that attempts not to fall under mobilization are more common in the East of the country (39 percent of respondents indicated that almost all of their acquaintances aged 18-60 are against conscription) , while in the South the same share is 32 percent, in the West it is 29 percent, and the smallest is in the Center (15 percent).
However, a high level of readiness to “join” the service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was noted by approximately equal (from 5 to 9 percent) part of respondents in the East, South and West, and only slightly more (15 percent ), predictably, in the central regions.
