On the air of a national telethon, a representative of Zelensky's Office said that attempts to discredit United News are part of Russian propaganda, reports NBN.
According to the adviser to the head of the OPU , the telethon was created to be a source of verified information, not fake data. Leshchenko noted that discrediting sources of information is one of the methods of Russians’ struggle against our country, so the enemy is trying to discredit United News.
The official said that in the absence of a national telethon, Ukraine will face media chaos even in such conditions It will be easier for the occupiers to stage a provocation, split and weaken society in the face of Russian aggression.
Recall that last week the US State Department included a national telethon in its report on human rights violations in Ukraine. Advisor to the head of the OPU Mikhail Podolyak commented on the criticism of United News by the American leadership.
